Hey we are In Ruin, an up and coming Melodic Death Metal band from the West Midlands area. We fuse elements of old school Heavy Rock like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath and fuse them with Thrash Metal scene from the 80's like Pantera and then mix it even further by adding the Melodic Element taken from Swedish Metal such as In Flames.
In our first year and a half of playing live shows we have clocked up 100+ shows on the back of two demos ranging from local shows to around England with no help from anyone outside of the band. We are a self-promoting band and are finding our feet and starting to make a go out of ourselves.
We have played in some of the West Midlands biggest venues and support a lot of local talent and also headlined many gigs and sold out a few times. The Venues we have sold out are The Rock Cafe 2000 Stourbridge & The Wolverhampton Little Civic to name a couple.
We have supported Mendeed (NUCLEURBLAST) Kyrbgringer (MAUSOLEUM RECORDS) Eternal Lord (GOLF RECORDS) Sanzen & Errander (IN AT THE DEEP END RECORDS) Deadweight (FETO RECORDS) Out for Blood (THE DEVIL KNOWS YOUR DEAD RECORDS) and many more big bands.
